After years of studying on his own, Jon decided to let us guide his learning journey. In just six months, he jumped from a shaky B2 to a solid C1!
Jon was very fond of learning foreign languages, but he always did it on his own. However, he heard about Partout Languages from a friend and, intrigued, decided to give us a try. Before our collaboration, his level was around B1/B2. He had fairly good skills, but years of self-study had left his knowledge needing organization and, most importantly, practice in speaking.
In the program designed for Jon, we placed the strongest emphasis on organizing his grammar. After testing various learning techniques during the first month of our collaboration, conversational methods combined with contrastive analysis proved to be the most effective. The main exercises Jon performed were:
A professional plan, Jon’s diligence, and regularity led to his progress to a higher level within a year. From uncertain French, Jon transformed into a confident language user, able to speak eloquently on a wide range of topics. Encouraged by his progress, he also started learning Polish at our school. We are keeping our fingers crossed for him!
