Aleksandra was very discouraged by the English classes at her school. With us, she discovered that learning languages can be a great adventure – and after a year of cooperation, both she and her parents are thrilled with her progress.
Aleksandra was discouraged from learning English due to uninspiring school lessons. Her parents wanted their daughter to gain confidence and not be afraid to speak up in everyday situations, whether traveling or talking with relatives from the USA.
In the first month, we noticed that Aleksandra is incredibly diligent and engaged. However, the material covered in her school was quite random – Aleksandra knew individual words like “avalanche,” “to obey,” and “bracelet,” but she couldn’t construct simple sentences or talk briefly about her interests.
So, the foundation of our lessons became boosting Aleksandra’s confidence. We put aside memorizing vocabulary lists and focused heavily on conversation, talking about simple, everyday situations, her hobbies, and daily life (dance, family, school). Thanks to positive motivation and systematic lessons, after just three months, Aleksandra was able to hold a simple conversation, and the classes became a real pleasure for her.
Aleksandra understood that learning languages can be enjoyable and that lessons don’t have to be limited to completing incomprehensible grammar exercises. After a year of studying with Partout, she continues her education, this time leaning towards preparing for the FCE language certificate.
